Man charged with police assault

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with police assault and breaching his bail conditions.

Police Scotland said it attended a premises in Lerwick's Commercial Road at around 6pm on Friday night after a report of a person breaching bail.

The man is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.
