Man killed in Burra collision named

A pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Burra during the early hours of Sunday morning has been named by police as George Michael Armour.

The 38-year-old died after being hit by a vehicle in Hamnavoe shortly before 2am.

Any witnesses to the collision are requested to contact the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
