Pair accused of housebreaking





A man has been remanded in custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court after appearing from custody charged with theft by housebreaking.

David Robertson, 57, of Lerwick appeared on a petition alleging the offence. He made no plea or declaration and his case was committed for further examination.

Appearing alongside Robertson was co-accused Jaden Paterson. Paterson, 27, from the town was released on bail after also being accused of the offence.
