Puffins return to isles, lighthouse says

Puffins have returned to the isles, marking the first sighting of the bird this year.

Sumburgh Head Lighthouse and Visitor Centre made the announcement this morning (Tuesday), stressing it was not an April Fool.

"Wahoo," the visitor centre said in a Facebook post.

It said the Tammie Norie was spotted flying close to the cliffs in the area around the lighthouse.
