Shetland Hotel suffers serious weather damage





Poor weather has caused serious damage to the roof of The Shetland Hotel in Lerwick.

The roof of the building's right stairwell was ripped off by high winds.

The incident has caused both external and internal damage to the property.

Temporarily repairs have been carried out.

No one was hurt during the incident.
