Strimmer stolen from back garden

Police are investigating the theft of a strimmer from a garden in Lerwick last month.

The orange Stihl petrol machine was taken from a back garden in the town’s Hill Grind area sometime after 15th May. A blue 45 gallon drum was also stolen.

Enquiries are also being made after a vehicle was deliberately scratched when parked outside Scalloway Motors.

That incident is said to have happened between 9th and 10th June.

Anyone with any information is requested to contact the police on 101.
