Teen charged with possessing indecent images of children

A teenager has appeared in court charged with two counts of possessing indecent images of children.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, entered no plea when he appeared before Lerwick Sheriff Court in private on Wednesday.

He was committed for further examination and released on bail.

The date of his next appearance has yet to be confirmed.
