Van reported stolen from garage forecourt

A VW van is alleged to have been stolen from the forecourt of Grantfield Garage in Lerwick.

Police said they received a call at 10.46am this morning reporting a dark blue VW Caddy had been taken.

The registration of the vehicle is SY56 ZGU.

Police later said they had recovered the van and one man was in custody.

They thanked the public for their help.
