WATCH: Meteor fly over Dunrossness

A meteor was captured flying over Dunrossness this morning amid report of a large "bang" throughout Shetland.

Footage released by Shetland Webcams showed a meteor travelling across Dunrossness at 8.24am this morning.

Reports on Shetland Aurora Hunter Facebook page said a "bang" could be heard all over the isles from Unst to the South Mainland.
