Hendra has returned to work after a mechanical breakdown.

Whalsay ferry services are now running as normal after one of the ferries encountered a mechanical breakdown earlier today.

Hendra was not sailing until midday after a breakdown and passenger ferry Filla stepped in for a short period, in her place.

The vessel has been ferrying passengers back and forward across the Dury Voe since she was fixed.
