Woman assaulted

Police are appealing for witnesses following an unprovoked attack on a woman in Scalloway early this morning.

The incident happened in the village's Craigpark Road at around 12.30am.

Police say they are looking for a man in connection with this and are following a "very positive" line of inquiry. Officers particularly want to know if anyone saw a man carrying "an item" in the Craigpark Road area.
