Woman on drugs charges

A woman has appeared in private in the town's sheriff court charged with drug offences.

Pauline Flaws, 38, of Lerwick appeared from custody today on a petition alleging a contravention of the misuse of drugs act.

She made no plea or declaration, was committed for further examination and released on bail.

Drugs believed to be heroin were seized on Wednesday night following a joint operation between Police Scotland and the Dogs Against Drugs charity.
