Krusche arrows hit the bullseye





Shetland Archery Club held its annual 18-metre FITA competition last weekend. Four compound and five recurve archers took part and 60 arrows were shot at a 40cm face from 18 metres.

Martin Krusche won the overall title and the compound section with a score of 556 out of a possible 600. Sara Leith was second with 549 and Ray Meadows third with a personal best of 544.

Keith Lobban won the recurve section with 541 while Dylan Murphy and Daniel Meadows both shot personal bests of 514 and 499 respectively, coming second and third.

Simon Newcombe (compound) 502, Dave Williamson (recurve) 484 and Rose Williamson (recurve) 381 all shot personal bests.
